About the Role
This opportunity is part of Abbott's high-caliber ICE Specialist, EP program. As an ICE Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting with the implantation and support of cardiac mapping procedures. You will work under direct supervision to provide educational and technical support to physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and field sales staff.
In this fast-paced, team-oriented environment, you will manage clinically-related issues, troubleshoot complex medical devices, and ensure the highest standards of patient care. You will have the power to influence the company's success individually and as part of a collaborative team, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to take action and accomplish goals. The role requires a high degree of independence while maintaining close collaboration with engineers, clinical specialists, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleAdvise sales representatives on customer needs and product performance to influence sales growth
- check_circleParticipate in the creation and implementation of long- and short-term sales strategies
- check_circleSupport marketing personnel in advertising and promotional sales activities
- check_circleDevelop and execute troubleshooting for highly complex medical devices
- check_circleIdentify and implement efficient business practices to execute processes
- check_circleEnsure compliance with FDA regulations, Abbott policies, and Quality Management Systems

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Engineering, Biology, Biological Sciences or equivalent
- verifiedMinimum 3.0 grade point average
- verifiedGraduating Senior, within 2-years post-graduation, or exiting US Military
- verifiedAbbott-specific certification on Electrophysiology technologies within 24 months
- verifiedFamiliarity with cath lab, EP lab, and operating room procedures
- verifiedAbility to travel based on business need
Nice to Have
Master's degree in relevant program. Biomedical engineering degree. Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac medical procedures. Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model.
