About the Role
The Global Clinical System Engineer II serves as the owner of end-to-end product lifecycle management, driving worldwide serviceability from successful product launches through to effective obsolescence. This position is designed to bridge the gap between field operations and strategic development, ensuring that technical support excellence translates into long-term product performance and customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will act as a vital connector across R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and regional teams. Your mission is to define and execute service strategies that optimize field support, accelerate customer issue resolution, and foster cross-functional alignment. You will navigate complex regional market dynamics while addressing strategic priorities, ensuring that the technical voice of the field influences upstream and downstream decisions.
Day in the Life
Your work will span investigation ownership, technical coaching, and strategic project execution. You will lead the management of technical support requests and customer complaints from subsidiaries and distributors, promoting proactive troubleshooting and sharing best practices to enhance local team capabilities. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to coordinating end-to-end technical investigations with Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality, ensuring rigorous adherence to audit preparations and CAPA activities.
Beyond reactive support, you will drive proactive service projects. This includes coordinating service deliverables during product development and launch phases (PDP/G2M/GOM), deploying service strategies in alignment with global operations, and managing the transition to obsolescence phases. You will also play a key role in hypercare efforts to secure product launches, stabilize performance, and ensure rapid resolution during critical go-live periods.

Requirements
