Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePrepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements for venture funds
- check_circleSupport NAV calculations, management fee and carried interest calculations, and expense allocations
- check_circleOversee capital calls, distributions, and cash management activities
- check_circleCoordinate with third-party fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors
- check_circleAssist with new fund launches, side vehicles, and investment structuring from an accounting perspective
- check_circleMaintain detailed support for portfolio investment activity, valuations, and realized/unrealized gains
- check_circleSupport audit and tax processes, including delivery of schedules and investor reporting
- check_circleDrive process improvements, documentation, and automation initiatives as the platform scales
Requirements
- verified3-6+ years of experience in fund accounting, audit, or fund administration
- verifiedStrong understanding of partnership accounting and investment fund structures
- verifiedExperience working with third-party administrators and auditors
- verifiedAdvanced Excel skills
- verifiedCPA or progress toward CPA
