Our client, a top-tier Hedge Fund, is seeking an Accounting Associate to join and lead their expanding team. This role offers a unique chance to work within a dynamic financial environment while contributing to the integrity of fund operations.
About the Role
As an Accounting Associate, you will serve as a critical link between daily trading activities and high-level financial reporting. Your day will involve reviewing and reporting daily trading activity, profit and loss, and fund performance to ensure accuracy and transparency. You will collaborate closely with the fund administrator to guarantee that monthly Net Asset Values (NAVs) are calculated accurately and delivered on time.
Beyond standard reporting, you will assist in preparing investment valuations in strict adherence to accounting rules and internal policies. The role requires coordinating with auditors and tax advisors during year-end reviews and producing regular reports for investors, regulators, and internal stakeholders. You will also support the trading team on special private deals and investment tracking, while actively identifying opportunities to improve processes and internal controls.
Work Environment

Requirements
- verifiedDegree in Finance or Accounting with strong grades
- verified2-5 years of experience in accounting for private equity, private credit, hedge fund, or public accounting firm
- verifiedCPA qualification or relevant finance/accounting experience in asset management
- verifiedStrong Excel skills
