As a Vice President of Finance at Taylor Morrison, you will occupy a strategic and operational position designed to drive growth while balancing financial risk. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the business and the ability to collaborate across key departments, including Sales, Construction, Purchasing, and Land. You will direct a team of finance, accounting, closing, and contracts professionals, ensuring that divisional strategic and financial goals are not only developed but achieved.
Your day-to-day involves leading the team in performing accounting, control, audit, and administrative duties effectively. You will drive reporting timelines by directing the preparation of accurate forecasts, project budgets, and division budgets on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Beyond financial accuracy, you will manage, motivate, and develop your staff, ensuring adherence to corporate financial policies while providing senior-level consultation to support all functional areas.
Taylor Morrison is a leading homebuilder where this role is critical to maintaining operational integrity and supporting expansion. The position is exempt and requires a candidate who can balance the precision of financial reporting with the dynamic nature of the homebuilding industry.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a CPA or MBA. We look for individuals with 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting within the public or private homebuilding sector, specifically with knowledge of cost accounting in this industry. Advanced proficiency with finance systems and Excel, plus a proven track record of managing and training personnel, is essential.

This role requires reporting to the Division/Corporate Office/Community daily.
