About the Role

Howmet Aerospace's Hampton, VA, IN facility is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to join our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. This position is a key member of the location's EHS team, operating within an environment defined by our company's EHS values and leadership's commitment to delivering results.

In this role, you will help maintain a culture aligned with Howmet's EHS goals and objectives, driving continuous improvements. You will manage, direct, coach, and motivate plant personnel to achieve these goals in a timely and safe manner. As the aerospace industry experiences rapid growth, you will lead cross-functional teams to implement environmental improvement projects, evaluating processes to optimize, minimize, or eliminate waste and reduce water usage. Your work will directly support corporate and business unit sustainability goals while developing best practices for the future.
