About the Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Engineer in Quality Assurance Engineering for a 6-month+ contract based in West Valley City, UT. This individual contributor role is designed for a professional who can apply expert judgment to develop and implement methods for process control, improvement, testing, and inspection. The primary mission is to ensure products are free of flaws and function exactly as designed.
In this position, you will design and install sophisticated testing equipment, perform product testing and analysis, and maintain high quality levels to minimize defects and failure rates. You will analyze reports and defective products to identify trends, recommending corrective actions to drive continuous improvement. The role also involves collaborating with supplier representatives to resolve quality problems, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented, and contributing to broader supplier quality improvement programs.
This position requires working independently with minimal supervision. It is ideal for someone with a university degree or extensive practical knowledge who can make evaluative judgments based on factual analysis with a high degree of attention to detail. Medical device experience is preferred for this opportunity.
