As a Cyber Resilience Senior Engineer at Stride, you will go beyond traditional disaster recovery to architect and implement strategies that ensure the continuity, integrity, and availability of critical IT services under adverse conditions. Your mission is to strengthen the organization's ability to anticipate, withstand, recover from, and adapt to cyber incidents and disruptive events.
This role is central to building a "continuity-by-design" culture. You will lead the development of resilience capabilities such as immutable backups, automated failover, and cyber-recovery architectures. By coordinating cross-functional teams and leading simulations, you will validate our resilience posture, identify weaknesses, and drive continuous improvement across our technology environment.
You will partner closely with architects, security teams, and operational leaders to map critical business services and their dependencies. Your work involves guiding teams through resilience planning, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring that recovery strategies align with organizational priorities and regulatory expectations. You will be the bridge between technical execution and business strategy, ensuring that our resilience objectives meet or exceed RTO/RPO targets while maintaining alignment with industry standards like NIST and ISO.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate deep expertise in cyber resilience and strong leadership skills. The interview process is designed to assess both your technical depth and your ability to collaborate across complex environments. Candidates can expect a series of conversations focusing on your experience with cloud-native resilience patterns, disaster recovery planning, and your approach to leading resilience initiatives.
