Communities United is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to community well-being. Our mission centers on equitable community development, striving to create safe, inclusive, and vibrant neighborhoods for all residents.
The Senior Director of Community Infrastructure serves as a strategic leader overseeing and enhancing infrastructure projects that directly support our mission. This role exists to bridge the gap between organizational goals and the tangible needs of the communities we serve. You will lead efforts in planning, executing, and maintaining infrastructure initiatives with a specific focus on sustainable development and deep community engagement.
In this position, you will not only manage the technical aspects of project delivery but also foster collaboration with diverse community stakeholder groups. Your work ensures that every infrastructure project aligns with our core values, reflecting community needs while driving long-term organizational impact. The day-to-day involves navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, from government bodies to local organizations, to secure support and resources for critical projects.
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a comprehensive interview process designed to assess both strategic vision and operational expertise. This includes a review of past project portfolios, a discussion on sustainable infrastructure practices, and a final round with executive leadership to evaluate cultural fit and alignment with our mission.
