The Clinical Development Lead sits within Clinical Development, a global organization dedicated to the effective design and execution of drug development. This role serves as the clinical point of accountability for the Development Team, responsible for the overall clinical development plan for assets in one or more indications or tumor types.
As a matrix leader, you will lead, develop, motivate, and achieve results through teams, demonstrating a commitment to building a resilient attitude and embracing change. You will ensure studies are aligned with target label indications and designed to meet regulatory, quality, medical, and access goals. This position involves partnering with Clinical Scientists and Clinical Trial Physicians to design, execute, and analyze studies, while also providing clinical leadership and disease area expertise into integrated strategies.
You will represent Clinical Development in internal and external forums as the consulted authority for the disease area, partner with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and serve as the primary clinical representative in regulatory interactions. The role requires evaluating strategic options against a Target Product Profile and collaborating with Global Development Operations to develop asset-level risk management plans.
