As a Senior Development Engineer, you will design medical-grade products that directly address end-user needs. This role serves as the bridge between engineering, quality, sales, and customers, ensuring that every solution is grounded in real-world application. You will act as a project leader on cross-functional teams, driving programs to success while maintaining the highest standards of technical rigor.
Your day-to-day involves interfacing with a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders, including surgeons, suppliers, and hospitals, to identify new opportunities and translate them into actionable product requirements. You will guide the entire product lifecycle—from design and development to validation and release—while leading critical activities such as Design for Manufacturing (DFM), FMEA, and risk management exercises.
In this position, you will also lead the execution of Design Verification & Validation strategies, direct necessary cadaver, animal, and bench studies, and support regulatory submissions and patent applications. Your expertise in medical materials and device manufacturing will be essential in maintaining a competitive landscape and ensuring compliance with the company's quality system and policies.
