About the Role
As a Senior Development Engineer, you will design medical-grade products that directly address end-user needs. This role serves as the bridge between engineering, quality, sales, and customers, ensuring that every solution is grounded in real-world application. You will act as a project leader on cross-functional teams, driving programs to success while maintaining the highest standards of technical rigor.
Your day-to-day involves interfacing with a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders, including surgeons, suppliers, and hospitals, to identify new opportunities and translate them into actionable product requirements. You will guide the full lifecycle of product development—from design and validation to release—while leading critical activities such as Design for Manufacturing (DFM), FMEA, and risk management exercises.
In this position, you will also support regulatory submissions and patent applications, direct necessary cadaver, animal, and bench studies, and ensure the completion of Design History Files. Beyond technical execution, you will contribute to business development by participating in research assignments, trade shows, and providing technical support to sales and marketing efforts.
