GovCIO is seeking a Senior Cyber Security / DevOps Systems Engineer to drive the engineering, automation, and optimization of full-stack enterprise solutions. This position is critical for supporting mission-critical operations by orchestrating containerized applications, developing robust CI/CD pipelines, and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) strategies. The role serves as a bridge between modern DevOps practices and rigorous cybersecurity requirements, ensuring seamless integration of new software and hardware technologies within on-premises environments.
In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in system modernization efforts. Your day-to-day will involve enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture through automated testing, proactive monitoring, and continuous improvement aligned with current industry standards. You will be responsible for correlating threat data to establish the identity and modus operandi of active adversaries, providing the customer with actionable assessments and reports that facilitate situational awareness. Additionally, you will develop cyber threat profiles based on geographic regions and actor groups, and may provide computer forensic and intrusion support for high-technology investigations.
This is an on-site position located in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The role requires a high level of engagement with on-premises systems and the ability to work effectively within secure, air-gapped network environments.

Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Cybersecurity or Computer Science. CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA CySA+ certification. Kubernetes certifications (KCNA, KCSA, CKA, CKAD, CKS). Experience automating STIG implementation and vulnerability remediation. Experience linking Splunk and Forward Networks into the deployment pipeline.
