About the Role

The Senior Cloud Engineer is a technical role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based solutions and accelerators to support consulting and delivery projects. This position focuses on hands-on technical tasks and solution engineering, with minimal delivery support responsibilities.

You will work closely with architects and delivery teams to develop robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions on AWS that drive value for clients and align with enterprise modernization objectives. In this role, you will translate solution patterns into high-quality, maintainable code and implement a wide variety of cloud architectures using infrastructure as code. You will develop, test, and deploy modular accelerator code to streamline project implementation and enhance client value.

Your day-to-day involves integrating security, networking, and observability features into each component as specified by solution designs. You will leverage automation tools to deploy complex cloud architectures efficiently and participate in code reviews to incorporate feedback for continuous improvement. You will also apply flexible application logic and feature enhancements to base patterns from open-source or internal repositories, rapidly learning and applying new patterns and technologies to meet evolving solution requirements.

This role is fully remote, based out of Baltimore, MD. Occasional travel may be required, such as a kickoff week for a long engagement.
