The Senior Cloud Engineer is a technical role focused on designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based solutions and accelerators to support consulting and delivery projects. You will work closely with architects and delivery teams to develop robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions on AWS that drive value for clients and align with enterprise modernization objectives.
This position emphasizes hands-on technical tasks and solution engineering, with minimal delivery support responsibilities. You will translate requirements from architects into high-quality, maintainable code and implement a wide variety of cloud architectures using infrastructure as code. The role involves developing, testing, and deploying modular accelerator code to streamline project implementation. You will integrate security, networking, and observability features into each component and leverage automation tools like GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline to deploy complex cloud architectures efficiently.
While this is a fully remote position based out of Baltimore, MD, the role may require occasional travel, such as a kickoff week for a long engagement. You will participate in code reviews, incorporate feedback for continuous improvement, and rapidly learn new patterns and technologies to meet evolving solution requirements.
This position is supported by our TGS Talent Acquisition Team. Applications are accepted until the position closes on April 26, 2026.
