About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Civil Engineer to lead transportation engineering services in the Memphis, TN region. This role is designed for a "seller-doer" who is equally comfortable driving business growth and delivering operational excellence. You will empower the Memphis office to expand its transportation engineering business, adding backlog through both new and existing clients while supervising a multi-discipline team.
In this position, you will serve as the Engineer of Record for assigned projects, guiding roadway design from concept through completion. Your day-to-day involves managing complex interstate, bridge, and surface transportation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Beyond technical execution, you will champion project management plans, quality requirements, and risk assessments, while actively developing and executing business development initiatives to capture new opportunities and retain existing contracts.
