About the Role
Join us in our fast-paced support to develop, advance, and sustain weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its mission partners. You will join a team of personnel with deep experience in ground, near-space, and space environments, meeting current and projected strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of Defense (DoD). As a mission-led innovation company, QinetiQ works with the USSF and DoD to design, develop, field, and maintain requirements essential to national security and the survivability of the warfighter.
In this role, you will provide critical financial and programmatic support to government program managers overseeing the execution of space acquisition contracts under the SAF/SQ program. You will operate within a unique working environment where innovative teams blend different perspectives, disciplines, and technologies to discover new ways of solving complex problems.

- check_circleDevelop and maintain spend plans, funding execution reports, and financial status briefings
- check_circleReview contractor cost and schedule performance data including EVMS data to identify variances
- check_circleProvide inputs and support on technical and programmatic status reporting for programs
- check_circleSupport preparation and review of acquisition documentation including Acquisition Plans
- check_circleCoordinate with contracting officers and program managers to ensure proper funding assignment
- check_circleIdentify areas of improvement and support risk identification and mitigation planning
- check_circleTrack congressionally directed changes and assess implications for program execution

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, management, or related field
- verified8+ years of experience in DoD budget execution, program management support, or acquisition financial management
- verifiedActive Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
- verifiedMaster's degree preferred
- verifiedCDFM, PMP, or DAU Program Management certification preferred
Nice to Have
Master's degree. CDFM, PMP, or DAU Program Management certification. Prior experience supporting space acquisition program offices or Air Force/Space Force financial execution. Experience with congressional budget justification and reprogramming actions.
