As a Senior Battery Engineer at Impulse Space, you will design and test new lithium-ion battery packs for our current and next-generation space vehicles. You will operate within a fast-paced, high-reliability environment, contributing to all phases of spacecraft development from concept to full-rate production.
This role requires you to own the full product lifecycle, acting as the Responsible Engineer who collaborates closely with program and manufacturing teams through the build, test, and delivery of flight hardware. You will interface directly with mechanical, electrical, thermal, structural, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure seamless integration and mission success.

Master's degree in mechanical, electrical or aerospace engineering or related field. Experience in development of hardware relevant to spacecraft. Experience in a startup or agile development environment. Experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Simcenter, and ANSYS. Experience with Altium Designer. Experience in design of harsh environment analog and power electronics. Experience in design of electro-mechanical assemblies.
