The Effector RF Design Team is seeking a talented Senior Engineer to join our group in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will lead and shape the design and implementation of antenna, radome, and radar cross section (RCS) ranges and chambers. You will work alongside interdisciplinary engineering teams to define, analyze, and simulate complex requirements, while also providing technical oversight and delegating tasks to drive project success. Your work will directly contribute to establishing technology roadmaps, enabling modernization, and fostering innovation within the Engineering organization.
This position requires an active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (DoD Secret) prior to your start date. U.S. citizenship is mandatory as only citizens are eligible for this clearance. The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

Master of Science (MS) or PhD in electrical engineering. Significant experience simulating and/or estimating the effects of propagation, reflections, and scattering on an antenna under test (AUT) in an anechoic chamber. Experience measuring hardware for RCS. Significant experience specifying, building, and validating antenna, radome, and/or RCS ranges/chambers. Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, and/or other high-level scientific programming languages. Proficiency with high performance computing (HPC) environments and schedulers such as SLURM. Proficiency with modeling and simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi, and GRASP. Experience designing and testing conformal antennas. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities from multiple sources. Strong interpersonal skills working in a team environment with positive interaction. Demonstrated ability to put forth and drive technical execution plans. Knowledge of management processes, such as Earned Value. Experience presenting in technical reviews. Understanding of near-field-to-far-field processing algorithms. Experience designing datalink, flight termination, telemetry, and/or GPS antenna systems. Experience being a Cost Account Manager or Integrated Product Team Lead.
