This role is based at our state-of-the-art Greenville, N.C. facility, which specializes in end-to-end turn-key solutions for oral solid dosage forms. The site offers integrated formulation development, analytical services, commercial manufacturing, and packaging. As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will be a vital part of a dynamic, fast-paced team executing laboratory analyses for pharmaceutical products. You will independently perform routine and complex testing using chromatographic and spectrophotometric methods (HPLC, GC, UV) on excipients, new chemical entities, and drug products. Your work involves interpreting data to make recommendations for improvement, comparing results against specifications, and trending data to ensure compliance.
Beyond testing, you will play a key role in laboratory troubleshooting and quality assurance. You will ensure the accuracy of all testing by adhering to internal SOPs and method instructions, while also independently authoring standard operating procedures, analytical testing procedures, and submission-ready documents. This position offers the opportunity to create templates for junior team members and drive continuous improvement processes within the lab.
We are looking for individuals with personal initiative who thrive in a meaningful work environment. At Catalent, you will work directly with a diverse team to support the successful and timely execution of critical analyses that impact patient health. Join us to further your career in a company where your work directly contributes to the global supply of essential medicines.
