The iconic Hotel del Coronado is one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world. Built in 1888 on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property recently underwent a $400M renovation and expansion. The resort features over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas, along with 65,000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets, including four restaurants, two bars, a food truck, a marketplace, an ice cream shop, and in-room dining.
About the Role
As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will be a key member of the Finance leadership team, playing a vital role in supporting the financial integrity of the resort. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Accounting, you will assist the Director and Assistant Director of Finance in overseeing all Finance team members, computerized accounting systems, month-end close, and general ledger reconciliation. This position ensures accurate, timely financial reporting while upholding the luxury standards, operational excellence, and service culture of the resort. You will also serve as a mentor and resource to the Finance team, providing operational support across departments to ensure effective financial processes.
