Position Summary

The Sr. Accountant plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while maintaining robust internal controls across the business. This position serves as a strategic partner to plant finance teams and corporate leadership, driving consistency, transparency, and continuous improvement in financial processes. The role is essential for supporting consolidation, compliance, and analysis efforts, ensuring that financial data across multiple manufacturing sites is reliable and actionable.

About the Role

In this capacity, you will lead key components of the corporate month-end close process, managing journal entries, accruals, and complex account reconciliations. You will be responsible for the timely consolidation of financial results, handling intercompany eliminations, and resolving discrepancies to guarantee the integrity of financial data. Beyond execution, the role involves providing variance analysis and insights to corporate leadership, partnering with FP&A and operational finance teams to explain results and identify risks and opportunities.

The position also focuses on the evolution of financial infrastructure. You will assist in maintaining and improving consolidation systems, supporting system implementations and automation initiatives, and identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and standardization. Whether supporting internal and external audits or assisting with corporate-level budgeting and forecasting, you will ensure adherence to US GAAP, SOX requirements, and company accounting policies.
