Compulink Cable Assemblies is seeking a Senior Accountant to partner closely with the Site Controller, providing essential accounting support for general ledger transactions, account reconciliations, and SOX controls. This role is critical for maintaining financial integrity within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you will independently manage complex accounting functions including cost accounting, margin reviews, and fluctuation analysis.
In this position, you will be the backbone of the monthly close process, preparing journal entries and reconciling complex accounts such as accruals, deferred revenue, inventory, and reserves. Your day-to-day involves ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger, performing reporting on margins and absorption metrics, and conducting variance analyses to support business decision-making. You will also play a key role in compliance by researching technical accounting issues under US GAAP, preparing audit schedules, and coordinating tax filings.
Beyond technical execution, this role offers the opportunity to drive efficiency. You will identify opportunities to streamline workflows, implement automation tools, and support system implementations. While there are no direct reports, you will provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, HR, and sales teams.
