We are partnering with a growing and dynamic organization in Orange County to find a Senior Accountant for a temp-to-hire role. This position is designed for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the accounting team through month-end close, financial reporting, and ongoing process improvements, serving as a key partner in maintaining financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will be the backbone of the accounting function, managing full-cycle accounting activities including the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations. You will drive the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations while resolving any discrepancies. Beyond transactional work, you will support the preparation of monthly financial statements, perform variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance, and assist with audit requests and year-end audit preparation. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operational teams to streamline workflows and deliver ad hoc reporting as needed.
