The Senior Accountant is the guardian of inventory accuracy across the Company. This role goes beyond simple reporting; it is about designing and implementing process improvements that enhance downstream efficiencies. You will play a critical role in understanding every inventory adjustment and its direct impact on the Company's financial results.
As an industry best practice, you will lead the month-end inventory close process, ensuring strict compliance with GAAP valuation standards. Your day will involve partnering with Supply Chain, Procurement, and logistics providers to track landed costs, collaborating with merchants to support business decisions, and troubleshooting WMS issues to ensure seamless operations. You will be the bridge between the warehouse floor and the general ledger, ensuring that every transaction is recorded accurately and that the financial story of our inventory is told clearly.
This role is based at our headquarters near Madison, WI. We value the energy of the office, so you will work Monday through Thursday on-site. We also offer a flexible Friday, allowing you to work from home if you prefer.
