The Accounting Manager, Beauty supports the CFO in overseeing daily accounting operations across multiple PCA entities. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational financial discipline while managing a small accounting team and partnering with warehouse leadership.
This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a high-volume distribution and inventory-driven environment and is ready to grow into a future Controller-level role. The role operates in a warehouse-adjacent office environment where safety, environmental, and operational considerations require consistent attention.
Work Environment & Schedule
This is an in-house role based in Ronkonkoma, NY, working Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm. The position involves physical demands consistent with warehouse-support roles, including the ability to move materials up to 50 lbs. as needed for inventory verification.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage daily accounting functions including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
- check_circleSupport month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities
- check_circleEnsure timely bank reconciliations and maintain balance sheet integrity
- check_circleAssist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting
- check_circleManage and comply with U.S. and international sales tax filings
- check_circleDocument and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- check_circlePartner with operations on payroll allocations and labor reporting
- check_circleSupervise assigned accounting staff and coordinate with warehouse management
Requirements
- verified4+ years experience in accounting or finance leadership
- verifiedStrong understanding of financial statements, inventory accounting, and detailed financial analysis
- verifiedAdvanced Excel skills and ERP experience
- verifiedKnowledge of sales tax compliance (U.S. and international preferred)
- verifiedCPA or CPA-track preferred
- verifiedExperience in beauty, distribution, logistics, or e-commerce environments preferred
- verifiedExperience working with ADP, TriNet, or similar payroll/benefits platforms preferred
