About the Role
Based in Bluffton, SC, this hybrid role is designed for a Senior Accountant to support inventory accounting, analysis, and reporting across our omnichannel business, including retail, e-commerce, and wholesale. You will play a key part in improving and stabilizing inventory processes, systems, and reporting as the company continues to scale. Your focus will be on ensuring accurate inventory accounting, reliable reporting, and strong data integrity across all systems and locations, including our third-party logistics (3PL) providers and retail stores. You will identify root causes of discrepancies and support sustainable solutions to enhance inventory accuracy and visibility.
Work Environment & Schedule
This position is based in Bluffton, SC, with a hybrid work schedule. Please note that occasional overtime work may be required to meet job duties during month-end, year-end, and audit periods.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOwn inventory accounting and reconciliations across all locations including 3PL, retail, and in-transit
- check_circleEnsure accurate recording of inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, returns, and adjustments
- check_circlePerform monthly inventory-to-general ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- check_circleDevelop and maintain daily and monthly inventory reporting and dashboards
- check_circleGenerate and support COGS and landed cost analysis
- check_circleSupport month-end close including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- check_circlePartner with Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to improve inventory accuracy and visibility
- check_circleAssist in performing various accounting functions including accounts receivable and payable
- check_circleSupport financial audits including documentation retention and procedure requests
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- verified5–8+ years of inventory, cost accounting, or related experience
- verifiedExperience working with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred)
- verifiedExperience with multi-location inventory environments and/or 3PLs
- verifiedStrong understanding of inventory flows, COGS, and SKU structures
- verifiedAdvanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
