As a Diesel Mechanic Technician Class B, you will play a vital role in supporting America's food distribution system. You will perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and converter dollies with minimal supervision. Your work ensures that all equipment complies with State and Federal trucking regulations and remains roadworthy.
In this role, you will interact professionally with co-workers, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for the documentation, completion, and maintenance of Work Orders for all repairs and parts used daily. The position may also require performing road call services as needed to keep the fleet moving.

Associates/2-year technical - Vocational / Trade School Diploma. 3+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in A/C refrigeration. Preferred certifications in tire & wheel, brakes, AC &/or EPA, DOT inspections, transmissions, engines, ASE Heavy Duty.
