This position serves as a critical operational leader within the security framework of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA). Acting as a direct extension of the General, Site, or Project Manager, the incumbent is responsible for supervising personnel on assigned shifts and ensuring the seamless execution of all security tasks. The role exists to maintain a safe, compliant, and professional environment across airport terminal buildings, outdoor locations, ramp areas, and near commercial aircraft.
In this capacity, you will not only monitor the quality of work and overall performance of security officers but also serve as a coach and mentor. You will be the primary point of contact for resolving incidents, emergencies, and operational issues that fall outside standard Post Orders. Your day-to-day involves conducting routine checks of personnel and equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and implementing corrections or reporting deficiencies to site management as necessary. You will also advocate for customer-focused security initiatives, balancing strict regulatory enforcement with high-quality client service.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to successfully complete all CAS-administered training required by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, including classroom, on-the-job, and re-current training. Successful completion of these programs with a passing grade is a prerequisite for the role.
