About the Role
As a Security Officer at Hollywood Casino & Hotel, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests and employees. This role is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic setting and are passionate about service. You will assist sick or injured patrons and employees by providing first aid, responding to all medical requests as either the primary or secondary responder, and composing accident/incident reports and witness statements when necessary.
Your day will involve actively monitoring and responding to alarms, reporting unsafe or hazardous conditions, and assisting guests and employees with directions and proper procedures. You will also verify guest identification to ensure compliance with age requirements and perform fills, credit, exchanges, and marker transfers for departments as needed. This position requires you to be standing and actively moving throughout your shift, using your hands, walking, and being physically active. You may also be required to help lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and operate company vehicles in a safe manner.
