Key Responsibilities
- check_circleRespond promptly to client inquiries and emergency situations
- check_circleMaintain access control for visitors and employees
- check_circleGenerate clear and concise written reports of shift activities
- check_circleMaintain safe driving practices and vehicle care procedures
- check_circleConduct interior and exterior foot patrols of facilities, parking areas, and lots
- check_circleEnforce security policies and procedures per Post Orders and Facility Security Plans
- check_circleInteract professionally with client personnel, vendors, contractors, and the public
- check_circleEnsure compliance with GSSC policies, federal regulations, and state statutes
- check_circleMonitor CCTV and alarm systems and ensure their functional status
- check_circleObserve and report activities, incidents, and safety hazards at assigned client sites
Requirements
- verifiedValid driver's license and clear driving record
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedAbility to read, write and speak English
- verifiedUS Citizen or Alien lawfully authorized to work in the United States
- verifiedPass State & Federal background checks and drug screen
- verifiedAbility to meet and maintain applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements
- verifiedMust successfully complete GSSC Basic Training
- verifiedBasic computer skills
- verified1 or more years of experience in the security, law enforcement, or military industries
