As a Secondary RLA Teacher and Coach at Ballinger Junior High School, you will serve as a vital link in the Thomaston Public Schools community, facilitating student success through academic growth and the development of interpersonal skills. This role is designed to create a flexible, safe, and optimal learning environment where every student can thrive.
You will implement district-approved curriculum while tailoring instruction to meet individual needs, including those of students with special needs. Your day will involve developing engaging lesson plans, conducting ongoing assessments, and fostering a classroom culture that encourages responsible citizenship and active parental involvement. Beyond the classroom, you will coordinate with grade-level teams to evaluate curriculum effectiveness and supervise student activities throughout the school day.
You will join the faculty at Ballinger Junior High School under the general supervision of the School Principal. Success in this position relies on strong collaboration with other middle school professionals, including faculty meetings and committees, to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students.
