About the Role

As a Secondary School Custodian at Evergreen Middle School, you will be the backbone of a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment for students and staff. This position is vital to maintaining the physical integrity of the campus, ensuring that classrooms, restrooms, gyms, and grounds are ready for the next day's activities. You will work the swing shift (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm), Monday through Friday, providing essential support during evening hours when the school is active for community events and security monitoring.

Your day involves a dynamic mix of routine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and security duties. From vacuuming and mopping classrooms to disinfecting locker rooms and inspecting playground equipment, you will ensure every space meets high standards of hygiene and safety. You will also serve as a guardian of the building, securing doors and windows, monitoring access, and maintaining the exterior grounds. This role requires you to collaborate effectively with the Head Custodian, school administration, and the local community, fostering a cooperative atmosphere that supports the district's mission.

Hiring Process & Application

Candidates must possess a minimum of six months of custodial experience and a clean criminal background clearance.
