This is not a typical customer service position. As a Seasonal Member Care Representative at TRANZACT, you will support members—many over the age of 65—as they navigate important and sometimes stressful health insurance decisions. Your work involves guiding individuals through complex information with care, accuracy, and compassion, ensuring they fully understand their next steps.
You will handle inbound and outbound calls lasting 15–30 minutes, helping members confirm insurance application details while strictly adhering to required scripts and compliance guidelines. The role demands a balance of professionalism and empathy, particularly when assisting customers who may feel anxious or confused. You will be the voice of support, protecting sensitive Personal Health Information (PHI) at all times and taking ownership of every interaction to provide a reassuring experience.
This is a full-time, 100% remote seasonal role ending on December 8, 2026, or early 2027 based on performance. You will work 8-hour shifts, with the most likely schedule falling between 12:00 PM and 8:30 PM EST. Weekend availability is required, as you will work at least one weekend day. Shifts may range from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM ET.
To succeed in this environment, you must have a private, quiet workspace and a hard-wired high-speed internet connection. The role is designed for those who can stay focused and engaged during high call volumes while maintaining a calm and conversational tone.
