BARDS (Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences) is a distinguished department within the company's renowned Research and Development division. Our quantitative scientists partner with subject matter experts to apply state-of-the-art scientific methodologies and tools. Our mission is to enable the discovery, development, regulatory approval, manufacturing, and marketing of medical drugs and vaccines for the benefit of patients and global human health.
This position supports statistical programming activities for late-stage drug and vaccine clinical development projects. You will serve as a key collaborator with statistics and other project stakeholders, gathering and documenting user requirements for statistical programming deliverables. Under the guidance of a senior-level programmer, you will be accountable for the development and execution of statistical analysis and reporting datasets, tables, listings, figures, and submission deliverables.
Your day-to-day work involves programmatically developing, validating, and maintaining efficacy and safety datasets at a protocol level. You will ensure deliverable quality and compliance with departmental SOPs and good programming practices. Additionally, you will collaborate effectively with project team members, including outsource provider staff, to support the development, validation, and deployment of medical monitoring reports.

Solid SAS, R, and/or Python programming experience. Knowledge of pharmaceutical development processes and clinical endpoint data (efficacy and safety). Unix operating system experience; systems and database experience. Good working knowledge of reporting processes (SOPs) and software development life-cycle (SDLC). Ability and interest to work across cultures and geographies.
