As a Scientist II, you will independently design, plan, and execute experiments to drive defined objectives within our research mission. This role is pivotal in advancing drug development decision-making through applied data science and the enhancement of clinical, biomarker, and genomic datasets. You will initiate and carry out the full process for assay development, optimization, and validation, leveraging your scientific expertise to understand drug candidate modes of action.
Your day-to-day involves a dynamic blend of independent research and collaborative problem-solving. You will work within a highly matrixed environment, supporting multiple projects simultaneously while troubleshooting experimental procedures. Beyond the bench, you will prepare technical reports, publications, and oral presentations, and provide training and guidance to laboratory personnel when needed. You will also play a key role in maintaining laboratory infrastructure, from routine equipment maintenance to managing inventory and ordering consumables to ensure continuous supply.
