The Medical Affairs (MA) organization provides patients, healthcare providers, and payers with the practical and clinically relevant information and solutions they need to use AbbVie products safely and effectively throughout the product lifecycle and the patient's journey.
As a Scientific Director or Medical Director within the Oncology portfolio, you will provide critical medical and scientific input into strategic and operational medical affairs activities. Your work will span healthcare professional and provider interactions, the generation of clinical and scientific data to enhance therapeutic benefit, and the execution of educational initiatives. You will play a key role in safeguarding patient safety through risk minimization and safety surveillance activities.
This role involves close collaboration with commercial teams to provide strategic medical input into core brand strategies, supporting medical and marketing activities such as promotional material generation and product launches. You will also partner with clinical development to support priority trials. The position operates on a hybrid model (3 days/week onsite) and may be based in Mettawa, IL; Florham Park, NJ; Irvine, CA; or San Francisco, CA.
