Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCoordinate daily campus security and safety operations
- check_circleMonitor and assess campus safety procedures and protocols
- check_circleSupervise school security personnel and contracted security staff
- check_circleAssist with access control, visitor management, and campus monitoring systems
- check_circleConduct regular security assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities
- check_circleDevelop and implement emergency response plans
- check_circleCoordinate safety drills including lockdowns, evacuations, and reunification procedures
- check_circleServe as a liaison with local law enforcement and emergency responders
- check_circleSupport crisis response efforts during emergencies and critical incidents
- check_circleIdentify and respond to potential safety concerns and threats
- check_circlePromote proactive violence prevention and de-escalation practices
- check_circleProvide safety and security training to staff and stakeholders
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedBachelor's degree preferred
- verified3–5 years experience in school safety, law enforcement, security management, emergency management, or military leadership
- verifiedExperience working with youth, schools, or educational environments preferred
- verifiedStrong knowledge of emergency response procedures and school safety practices
- verifiedCPR, First Aid, and emergency response certifications preferred
- verifiedTraining in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies preferred
- verifiedFamiliarity with surveillance, access control, and security technologies preferred
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree. Experience working with youth, schools, or educational environments. Training in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies. CPR, First Aid, and emergency response certifications. Familiarity with surveillance, access control, and security technologies.
