About the Role
As a School Psychologist, you will serve as a vital member of the educational support system, dedicated to understanding and addressing the psychological and academic needs of students. You will work collaboratively with building staff, teachers, parents, and outside agencies to create supportive environments. Your day involves a blend of clinical assessment, data analysis, and direct student interaction. From administering IQ and achievement tests to leading social skills lessons, you will play a key part in the diagnostic and intervention processes that shape student outcomes.
Hiring Process
Candidates are expected to hold a graduate degree from a NCATE-approved program in school psychology and possess appropriate state teacher certification. Experience in a public school setting is preferred.
