About the Team

Point Quest Group is seeking a School Psychologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within the Education sector. About the Role

In this role, you will conduct assessments, provide counseling, and collaborate with educators and families to support students' academic, social, and emotional success. You will develop intervention plans, participate in IEP meetings, and promote positive behavioral strategies. Your work will involve consulting with teachers and administrators to foster positive learning environments while engaging effectively with families to ensure continuity of care. You will also contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, providing professional insights to guide educational planning and assist with crisis prevention and intervention when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleConduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students

  • check_circleConsult and collaborate with teachers and administrators to promote positive learning environments

  • check_circleAssist with crisis prevention and intervention, including risk assessments and safety planning
  • check_circleMaintain accurate documentation, assessment reports, and progress notes in accordance with legal standards

Requirements

  • verifiedCurrent or eligible School Psychologist credential or PPS credential
  • verifiedMaster's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • verifiedEligibility for state licensure or certification in school psychology
  • verifiedExperience administering and interpreting standardized cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
  • verifiedKnowledge of IDEA and Section 504
