Founded in 1962, Cistercian Preparatory School is an all-boys institution rooted in the life and spirit of Catholic monasticism. Located on 82 acres of woodland near The University of Dallas, the school serves 363 talented and motivated young men in grades 5-12. The community is defined by an intense, communal eight-year honors curriculum that challenges students to develop their strengths while discovering that their greatest success lies in applying their talents for the sake of others.
The faculty consists of 54 members, including 20 Cistercian monks and 34 lay educators, with an average tenure of 16 years. About the Role
Cistercian is seeking a dedicated nursing professional with experience, integrity, and compassion to serve as the School Nurse. In this role, you will manage a wide range of critical responsibilities that directly support the school's educational mission. Reporting directly to the Headmaster, you will work closely with school leadership and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the community, including students, families, faculty, and staff.
You will be the guardian of student health, ensuring a safe and supportive environment where every boy can thrive. Your work will involve not only clinical care but also education, policy development, and collaboration with healthcare providers to implement individualized plans. By modeling the highest ethical standards and communicating with compassion and professionalism, you will help foster a culture of care that reflects the school's shared values.
