About the Role
As a Part Time School Bus Driver in Soldotna, AK, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.
This role offers a split shift schedule: an early morning before-school pickup and an after-school drop-off, with a few free hours in between. You are guaranteed a shift of 4 hours per school day, with no working nights or weekends unless you choose to take them. Additional hours are available through trips and charters when offered.
We are proud to train you with our industry-leading technology to help you succeed. We were the first school bus company to utilize global positioning systems (GPS) to track our buses and speed. Passionate about safety, we have installed Safety Crossing Gates on the front of all our buses and use the Child Check-Mate™ electronic reminder system to ensure no sleeping children remain inside a bus at the end of each route.
