About the Role
As a Part Time School Bus Driver for the Sullivan West Central School District in Youngsville, New York, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of students. You will start students' days with morning pickups before school and transport them safely back home in the afternoon. Additional hours for field trips and special event transportation may be available.
No prior experience is necessary to become a school bus driver. We are here to help you succeed with expert training and guidance to help you become a safe and professional First Student driver. You will be a trusted figure for students and families, maintaining order on the bus, assisting with boarding and unloading, and ensuring a safe environment. This role is perfect for retirees, stay-at-home parents, veterans, or anyone seeking a second career with a flexible schedule.
Hiring Process

- Training: Receive expert training and guidance, including Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training provided by the company.
- Background Check: Complete necessary background checks and drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee subject to DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40.
- Onboarding: Begin your journey with a guaranteed minimum of 5 hours of pay per day.
