About the Role

As a Part-Time School Bus Driver with Central Bucks School District, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of students. You will start students' days with morning pickups before school and transport them safely back home in the afternoon. Additional hours for field trips and special event transportation may be available.

No prior experience is necessary to become a school bus driver. We provide expert training and guidance to help you become a safe and professional driver. Your day will involve safely transporting students to and from school and activities, supervising boarding and unloading, and maintaining order on the bus. You will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report mechanical issues promptly, and keep the bus clean and sanitary. This role is perfect for retirees, stay-at-home parents, veterans, or anyone seeking a second career with a flexible schedule.

Hiring Process

We are here to help you succeed with expert training and guidance. Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training is provided. A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is available for qualified candidates. Please note that this position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee.
