As a Scheduler, you will begin your day managing appointment requests, including scheduling, confirming, rescheduling, and canceling visits according to established guidelines. Throughout the day, you will verify patient demographics, coordinate appointment availability based on provider schedules and resource capacity, and clearly communicate appointment details, preparation instructions, and required documentation to patients.
You will monitor schedules for accuracy and efficiency, proactively resolving conflicts and ensuring optimal utilization of resources. You will also respond to inquiries via phone and electronic communication, providing prompt, professional customer service.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure readiness for scheduled services and support a smooth patient flow.
