Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSchedule and coordinate patient appointments with medical staff
- check_circleConfirm upcoming appointments with patients via phone, email, or text
- check_circleCoordinate transportation for patients when needed
- check_circleMonitor schedules in real-time and adjust for cancellations or conflicts
- check_circleMaintain accurate digital records of appointments and patient communications
- check_circleCommunicate updates and instructions to patients and medical staff promptly
- check_circleTrack scheduling metrics including confirmations, cancellations, and no-show rates
- check_circleCollaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient flow and service delivery
- check_circleEnsure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations
- check_circleProvide support for scheduling and communication platforms used by staff and patients
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedAssociate degree preferred
- verified1-3 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, patient coordination, or dispatch preferred
- verifiedComfort using scheduling platforms, Microsoft Teams, email, and digital communication tools
- verifiedCompliance with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations
- verifiedWork authorization to work in the United States
Nice to Have
Associate degree. 1-3 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, patient coordination, or dispatch. Prior healthcare experience.
