Pine Tree Products is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Sawmill operations team. In this hands-on position, you will play a vital role in transforming raw logs into finished lumber. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve assisting with custom timber orders, rough sawn boards, and planning lumber into dressed sizes. A key part of your journey will be learning to scale logs and eventually advancing to become a skilled sawyer for our operations.
This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to perform repetitive bending, lifting, stooping, and significant physical effort. You will be responsible for sorting and stacking materials as logs are processed into piles, ensuring efficiency and safety throughout the workflow.
Candidates with prior sawmill experience are preferred. Please note that a Fork Lift certification is required for this position. The role reports directly to the Mill Manager.
This is a full-time position operating Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
