This position focuses on leveraging SAP TM (Transportation Management) 9.3 or above to drive logistics transformation. The role requires deep functional experience within SAP logistics, specifically managing the full project lifecycle. You will be responsible for configuring and optimizing complex transportation processes, including Transportation Network setup, Freight Unit Building Rules (FUBR), and Order Tendering with Carrier Determination.
In this role, you will manage critical integration models (CIF), configure Transportation Charge Management, and oversee Master Data Management for products, business partners, dangerous goods, and resources like vehicles and trailers. The day-to-day involves handling inbound and outbound shipments (domestic and international), utilizing Transportation Load Builders for FTL, LTL, and package building, and executing planning profiles for carrier selection and tendering. You will also manage freight settlement, charge calculations, and cost distribution across road, ocean, rail, and air modes.
Beyond core configuration, the role demands strong technical collaboration. You will work extensively with ABAP interfaces using IDOCs, BAPIs, and RFCs to/from middleware and flat files, ensuring seamless data flow. Experience with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) integration and cross-module knowledge of SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) areas like MM and PM is highly valued.
Candidates with experience in a full project lifecycle are highly desired. The selection process evaluates both functional depth in SAP TM and technical proficiency in ABAP interfaces and enhancements.
