About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This position is critical for supporting our SAP ECC 6.0 environment, focusing on advanced custom development, system enhancements, and complex middleware integrations across core functional modules.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive deep technical expertise to handle intricate customizations, drive major system upgrades, and navigate significant architectural shifts. You will be responsible for designing and implementing complex solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP, developing robust RICEFW components, and optimizing legacy code to ensure peak performance and minimal system overhead.
In this role, you will lead technical analysis and code remediation during upgrade projects, applying deep knowledge of SAP architecture to support both Greenfield and Brownfield methodologies. A key part of your day-to-day will involve building and maintaining high-performing interfaces between SAP ECC and middleware products like SAP BTP and IBM Sterling Integrator, ensuring seamless data exchange through secure communication channels.
