The Division of Enterprise Applications (DEA) has implemented SAP to manage all state government business processes, including finance, budgeting, grants management, materials management, supplier relationship management, logistics, human resources, and payroll. This role supports the SCEIS Development Team Lead in maintaining and evolving this critical infrastructure within the State of South Carolina.
As an SAP Developer/Global Support Manager, you will provide technical development and functional analysis within defined project schedules and deadlines. You will be responsible for the development, configuration, tuning, and administration of SAP FI, Treasury, or Logistics functionality, including ancillary applications utilized by the state. The position requires in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and ECC 6.0 FI functionality, specifically within a public sector organization.
Your day-to-day involves developing quality code and associated documentation while adhering to DEA team development standards. You will collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners to test software programs and provide comprehensive SAP support, including analysis, development, testing, tracking, and resolution. Additionally, you will mentor less experienced team members, participate in team planning, and assist with defining hardware specifications and high-level implementation roadmaps for new solutions.
